Where is Kenzi Rose Garden Marrakech located?

When determining a list of viable hotels to stay in on your upcoming trip, I always recommend looking at location as one of the top things to put into consideration, for a number of reasons:

  • The location of your hotel will largely determine what your main methods of transportation will be (and how long it will take you to get to the location of your planned activities).
  • Location will largely impact how safe and secure you feel on your trip. For me, I don’t like to compromise on this anywhere I travel.
  • The price of accommodation is often impacted by how central the location is to attractions and/or city center.

Kenzi Rose Garden is located at Av. du Président Kennedy, Marrakech 40000, Morocco. Located in the L’Hivernage district (a very well regarded are in Marrakech!),  it’s about a 20 minute walk to the beautiful Koutoubia Mosque- and closer to a 30 minute walk to the Medina of Marrakech and Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Within a shorter distance, you can find attractions such as the Menara Mall, Theatro Marrakech, and multiple restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Transportation to and from the central attractions seemed to be very accessible and easy to obtain. As far as safety goes, I felt incredibly safe at Kenzi Rose Garden! The area generally seemed well-kept and quiet, and very walkable. They also have a 24 hour security team.  If you’re specifically looking for hotels in safe areas in Marrakech, I couldn’t recommend Kenzi Rose Garden more.

Kenzi Rose Garden Marrakech Prices

As a 5 star hotel, Kenzi Rose Garden is going to certainly be a little pricier than other hotels in the area, especially if you’re not particularly concerned with luxury accommodation. However, I think that Kenzi Rose Garden Marrakech is a very reasonable price point, generally ranging from around MAD 1260-2225, or about $126-245 USD per night. In the same district of Marrakech, you can expect 5 star hotels to cost around $220 on average per night, with higher-end options such as the Four Seasons Marrakech to be closer to $540 on average per night. In terms of cost and value, Kenzi Rose Garden is a very reasonable price point for what you get.

My Experience- Is Kenzi Rose Garden a Good Place to Stay in Marrakech?

Now that we’ve covered all of the important information you need to know about Kenzi Rose Garden, let’s get into my real opinion on whether or not you should stay there. My answer? YES! Overall, I absolutely loved my stay at Kenzi Rose Garden. From the moment I arrived, I knew it would be a positive experience. The porters were ready upon my arrival to swiftly take my bags to my room while my friends and I got our first take of Moroccan mint tea. Yes, as soon as you arrive in the lobby a woman will be waiting for you with fresh Moroccan mint tea for you to enjoy. It made the lobby smell divine.

The front desk staff were immensely kind and helpful in guiding us to our rooms. Once I arrived to my room, it was clean and had everything I needed for my stay- fresh towels and even disposable (yet cozy) slippers. The bed, sheets, and pillows were all clean and comfy, passing my inspections (I am always wary of beds and/or bedbugs when traveling- be sure to check under the sheets AND under the mattress wherever you go!).

During my stay, I explored several of the amenities that Kenzi Rose Garden has to offer. The first was the pool! There’s two different pools and a jacuzzi, all of which were lined by lawn chairs with towels readily available. While Marrakech is often very hot, the pool was heated (and was actually a very nice touch). The pool bar is also a great touch, although it took a while to get our order taken and to pay.

As far as food goes, I was very happy with the options I tried. Each morning I had breakfast at L’Orangeraie, the buffet restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating adjacent to the pool. There was a wide array of hot breakfast foods along with fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, and more. For drinks, you can find coffees, mint tea, juices, and water. They also even had a fresh donut station! For lunch and dinner, La Terrasse was a great option with delicious options, including Italian inspired food.

Throughout my stay, the staff was just incredible! There were smiles and excellent service everywhere I went.
